[Report of the Medical Officer of Health for West Ham]

The Department responsible for recovering the cost of treatment
from the parents is the Bye-Laws Department of the Education
Officer, and the work is entrusted to the Attendance Officers
through the Superintendent of Visitors. The Education Committee
have drawn up a scale of charges to be applied in accordance with
a scale of income.

All the pupils were medically examined during the months of September and October. The following is a resume of the examination.
