Deaths 1—5 Years.
Of the 185 deaths in the age period 1—0 years, no less than 60
were due to measles, and 41 to pneumonia, again emphasising the
importance in these diseases of skilled nursing and attention in
surroundings such as can only be found for many children in a
suitable hospital ward.
