General Remarks.
The work has been carried on as usual during the year. An
analysis of the work done has been prepared and set out on the
Tables as required by the Ministry of Health. These Tables are
appended—Tables 1, 2 and 3.

There has been a marked decline in the number of cases
: found to be suffering- from Tuberculosis. Consequently, fewer
contacts have been examined; fewer cases of tuberculosis have
been found among the contacts as shown in the following table:

Pulmonary Tuberculosis.
Adults.
The Dagenham Sanatorium has, the whole, been fully
occupied during the year, with the exeption of the male beds
during the latter part of the year. There has been a Waiting
List, but it has been shorter than it was last year. Four or five
beds have been occupied in the Grosvenor Sanatorium by female
patients.
