In this connection 393 summonses have been issued during
the year, and it is of interest to note that, although there are
approximately 6,000 owners or agents in this Borough, only
88 have been proceeded against for not carrying out the Sanitary
Notices, and a few of these have been proceeded against
on many occasions (see also page 39).
