Provided that this Bye-Law shall not apply:—
(i.) to any articles of food in respect of which the
conditions of sale or exposure or offer for sale
are prescribed in any order or regulation made
by the Minister of Health, and for the time
being in force in the Borough; or
(ii.) to any articles of food contained in receptacles so
closed as to exclude all risk of contamination.
As these Bye-Laws have only very recently received the
sanction of the Home Office it is too soon to say anything in
respect to their working, but certainly these cannot but be a
valuable asset in the carrying out of the supervision of food.
