Questionnaires are distributed by Head Teachers and following
completion are scrutinised, together with previous medical records, by
school doctorso
School Medical Officers visit their schools each term to discuss with
Head Teachers any pupils causing concern„ Following this, cases for
examination are selected, the parents informed and invited to be present.
Some anxiety was felt that the questionaire would not be properly completed,
but this has not proved to be a serious difficulty.,
The scheme will be kept under close review and modified where
necessary.
