(b) A dealer's (pre-packed milk) licence has been introduced which
permits the sale of all three kinds of specially designated milk, where
the milk is obtained by the dealer in the container in which it is to be
supplied to the consumer, or is pasteurised or sterilised by the dealer.
(c) The period for which a dealer's licence will be granted has been
extended from one year to five years.
All milk distributors in the Borough are licenced to use the special
designation in relation to the milk retailed.
Routine inspections of the milk pasteuriser's and distributor's
premises reveal that the provisions of the regulations are generally well
observed.

Four licences were issued in 1963, authorising the use of Special Designations and these will expire on the 31st December, 1965 along with previous licences issued from 1961 onwards (as mentioned in (c) above). The total now issued being 55 as follows:–

To comply with the Milk (Special Designation) Regulations, 1960,
samples of 'Pasteurised' and 'Tuberculin Tested' Milk on arrival at the
testing laboratory shall at once be removed from the insulated container and
stored as follows:–
