It is gratifying to record that the majority of the traders
have shown a willing co-operation to comply with the requirements
of the Regulations. This is revealed in the above table by the
number of infringements rectified in the relatively short time
the Regulations have been in force. Mention must also be made
that the standard of hygiene in the various food premises and the
cleanliness of the persons engaged in the handling of food is
much improved.

The following table shows the number of food premises registered by type of business, and the number of Inspections made.
