Incidence

examined 2.0 40.1 37.0
The Incidence of 2.0 cases per thousand examined lies within
the range of expectation for random samples of the population,
and compares with an average for the County of 2.1. The finding
of other abnormalities of the chest gives an opportunity for
early advice and treatment. The visits of the unit are valuable
In stimulating public Interest In the use of modern scientific
advances for the preservation of health. It Is notable that the
attendances of women outnumbered those of the men by nearly two
to one. It Is hoped that the example and Influence of mothers
and wives will encourage a larger attendance of adolescent and
adult male members of the community.
