I would record my personal sorrow at the death
of the Chairman of the Public Health Committee, Alderman
H.S.Oakley, and my aopreciation of his contribution to the
progress of Public Health in the Borough.
I thank the members of the Council for their
advice and help during the' year, and I am grateful to the
officers of the Council for their close cooperation.
