of Mumps, 21 cases of Scabies, and 29 cases of Conjunctivitis.
An outbreak of acute contagious conjunctivitis occurred in one
school during February and March, and was reduced by exclusion
of suspected cases. School notifications are a useful index
of the prevalence of non notifiable diseases, and are a basis
for consultations with the school medical officers.
