RATS & MICE (DESTRUCTION) ACT, 1919.
During 1941, 518 visits were made in connection
with rat or mice infested or suspected infested
premises. In addition to these visits, the Corporation's
Disinfector has. made 376 visits to private
premises and 50 visits to premises in the occupation
of the Corporation. 73 premises were satisfactorily
cleared of rats or mice.
MOSQUITO BREEDINC.
No evidence of mosquito breeding was detected in
the various static water tanks in the Borough.
SCHOOLS.
The sanitary condition and water supply of the
Schools are satisfactory.

ERADICATION OF BED BUCS.

Twenty-seven bug-infested houses were dealt with a follows:—

The work of disinfestation has continued to be
carried out upon the lines indicated in previous
Reports.
The Insecticide used is Roxem T.C.Y.
