No prosecutions were instituted during the year.
In the case of the beef suet and jelly crystal samples
warnings were given lo the vendors. The margarine
samples are reported as adulterated but, nevertheless,
they conformed to the Margarine (Addition of
Borax) Order, 1940.
Milk Supply.
There are 16 dairymen and 62 retail purveyors of
milk in the district. Eight persons whose premises
are outside the district are also registered as retail
