SANITARY CIRCUMSTANCES OF THE AREA.
Water.—The supply is from deep wells in the chalk.
The Sutton District Waiter Company have their pumping
station in the town. The water is softened in
settling tanks by the lime process, and is re-carbonated
before distribution.
