103 of these temporary bungalows have been demolished in previous years.
It should be noted that the Borough Council's figures include a number of
dwellings on the Syon Estate, Isleworth, which is in the adjoining Borough of
Heston and Isleworth.
Conversion of Council Houses
The process of conversion and improvement of Council owned houses continued
in 1961, the Lionel Road scheme having been completed, with the provision of
24 houses and 48 flats.
