NUCLEAR RADIATION
No particular difficulty arose during the year with regard to radioactivity.
Reports are now being sent regularly from the Metropolitan Water Board, as part
of their information on the state of the water supply of London and its environs,
concerning the sampling being done by their officers of the radiation content
of the water going into supply. In these reports it is always stated that
current information has been obtained from the Atomic Energy Authority on the
radiation state of the outfalls from those nuclear reactors situated near the
River Thames.
