The Department suffered a loss in March, 1952, by the death of
the Chief Sanitary Inspector, Mr. L. C. Webb, after a long period
of illness, Mr. Webb had been in the service of the Borough Council
for 45 years.
In conclusion, I should like to thank the present Chief Sanitary
Inspector and all members of the Public Health Department for the
good work they do, not only in assisting with the preparation of
this Report, but at all times.
I am, Your Worship, Ladies and Gentlemen,
Your obedient Servant,
