TONSILLECTOMY IN SCHOOL CHILDREN.—Twentytwo
sessions were held between April and July. 164 children had
tonsils and adenoids removed. 1'he Surgeon was Mr. Miller and
the Anaesthetist Dr. Lewis.
ILLNESS OF STAFF.—Only seven members of the staff
have been ill during the year suffering from :

During the year 1st April, 1946, to 31st March, 1947, 1191 patients were admitted to the hospital. These included 22 emergency cases.
