REPORT OF THE MEDICAL INSPECTION AND
TREATMENT OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CHILDREN FOR
THE YEAR ENDING 31ST DECEMBER, 1942.
To the Chairman and Members of the Education Committee.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
I beg to submit tables indicating the work of the School
Medical Service during 1942.
The Nursery Schools at Belmont, Strand and Lionel Road, were
opened during war time Nursery hours for the children (of Nursery
School age)of mothers engaged in essential war work.
The incidence of Infectious Disease in the schools is indicated
in the following table:-
