HOUSING
By reason of the fact that the Sanitary Staff was otherwise
engaged coupled by the difficulty experienced by builders in
obtaining labour and necessary materials, the usual routine
house-to-house, inspection in the Borough was suspended.
Housing Act. 1936
The position in regard to the progress of programmes
under this Act is exactly the sees as that shown for the
preceding year.
Where cases of over-crowding have occurred these have
been referred to the Council's special Housing Department
and satisfactorily dealt with.
