The Local Authority undertakes treatment as follows:—
(a) For Minor Ailments.
(b) Operative treatment for Tonsils and Adenoids.
(c) X-Ray treatment for Ringworm.
(d) Refraction work for defective vision and provision
of spectacles.
(e) Treatment of dental defects.
(f) Orthopaedic treatment.
(g) Treatment of Rheumatism.
(h) Artificial Sunlight treatment.
Free medical treatment is provided in cases in which the
total weekly income of the family, exclusive of rent, insurance
and travelling expenses of the wage earners to and from work,
does not exceed:—
10s. per head, if the family is six or less in number.
9s. per head, if the family is more than six in number.
Where free treatment is not provided, the parents'
payments to be according to the following scale for each
treatment.

In the case of Minor Ailments, no charge is made for the
first two weeks.
The following table shows the scale of charges for Orthopaedic treatment:—
