MATERNAL MORTALITY.

The following four deaths connected with pregnancy were reported during the year, two being from Sepsis and two from other causes:—

4 With regard to the above cases it may be stated that in
case (1) it is not improbable that the miscarriage was secondary
to the Broncho-pneumonia.
Case (2) was not under the control of any Maternity and
Child Welfare activity.
