From this Table it will be seen that 28 children were sent to
Special Schools during 1937. The total charge to the Local
Authority per annum was£l,416 3s. 2d., while the contributions
by the parents amounted to £2 2s. Od. per week, or£l09 4s. Od.
per annum.
Four boys and two girls attended the Ealing Occuparion
Day School from this district and one boy received instruction
at the Acton Special (M.D.) Day School. Also one boy and two
girls received instruction at other special residential schools.
Two boys and one girl from this area were maintained at
Special Residential Schools for Epileptic Children.
One girl was sent to an Open Air School, one boy and one
girl to a Heart Home, one girl to a Convalescent Home Certified
School and one girl to an Orthopaedic Hospital Certified School.
