Rag Flock and Other Filling Materials Act, 1951
Two premises were registered under this Act at the
beginning of the year and two inspections were made.
Very little filling material was used at either of them.
Disinfestation
One dwelling (Council owned) was treated for bed bugs,
contact insecticide being used.
It was not found necessary to disinfect for bed bugs,
the furniture etc. of persons rehoused in the Council's
dwellings.
Other disinfestations for the eradication of pests were
carried out as follows:—
Fleas 1
Wasps 26
Cockroaches 3
Ants 2
Lice 1
Clover Mites 1
Infectious Disease—Disinfection
It was not found necessary to carry out disinfection
after infectious disease.
