Mr, Chairman, Ladies and Gentlemen,
I beg to present my Annual Report on the Health and
Sanitation of your District during 1943.
The District is divided into three Wards: Bedfont,
Peltham and Hanworth with a total acreage of 4,935,
The estimated population is 36,000 (mid, 1943),
(Registrar General), This is a slight decrease compared with 1942.

The day population is increased by people working at the various factories and shops A small number continue to work at agriculture.
