The total number of children examined was 712 consisting of 352 girls and 360 boys. They
attended eighteen schools.
Table I shows the number of children examined in each school, the percentage of children who
were free from decay and the average number of teeth each child had which were decayed, extracted
or filled (d.e.f.).
