FAMILY PLANNING
Family planning advice has continued to be provided by the Family Planning Association and
all women who wish for such advice may attend the Clinics. The Council accepts financial responsibility
for those who need advice on medical or social grounds, and these cases are referred to the
Clinics by the Council's Medical Officers.
A domiciliary service can be provided, but this is rarely used as it has been found easier and
more acceptable to help mothers to attend a Clinic, if necessary arranging transport, escort or babysitting
services.
