RECUPERATIVE HOLIDAYS
Recuperative Holidays, normally of two weeks duration, are arranged for adults and children
under five who have been suffering from a recent illness, and 44 recommendations were received
from general practitioners or hospital medical staff. Some applications were withdrawn and in a
few cases the patients were not well enough to travel when the time came, and in all 26 holidays
were actually taken.
