The above-mentioned figures include 169 children vaccinated and 502 children re-vaccinated
at London Airport.
The case of generalised vaccinia indicated above had an uneventful course without complications.
Smallpox Vaccination at London Airport
In 1969 there were 9,583 adult persons vaccinated. Not all these vaccinations were performed
on arriving passengers, as in certain circumstances it was necessary to vaccinate outgoing passengers.
