Liquid Egg
Thirteen samples of liquid egg were tested for adequate pasteurisation, and all were found to be
satisfactory. There are no egg pasteurisation plants within the Borough.
Watercress
Samples of watercress from the beds within the Borough were all found to be satisfactory. The
water in the beds is of a very unsatisfactory quality, but the use of hypochlorite wash ensures a satisfactory
end product.
