OUTWORKERS—1966
Twice yearly the occupiers of factories must supply to the Council a list of persons employed on
specified work outside the factory. This information must be sent to the local authority in whose area
the persons, known as Outworkers, reside.
The following table shows the notifications received and the visits made to ensure that the conditions under which work is carried out are satisfactory.

——FERTILIZERS AND FEEDING STUFFS ACT, 192
With the exception of one mill, the only outlets for fertilizers and feeding stuffs are small retailers.
Five samples of animal feeding stuffs and 11 of fertilizers were taken and all were found to be satisfactory.
LONDON (HEATHROW) AIRPORT, NOISE INSULATION GRANTS SCHEME
This scheme, which is a scheme for the protection of dwelling houses near London Airport from
noise and vibration attributable to the use of aircraft, came into operation on 1st April, 1966. It provides
financial help to householders in the South Ward and that part of Hayes Ward which lies south
of the Reading-London railway line to insulate their homes against noise. The grant is only payable
to persons who were the owners or occupiers of property prior to the 31st December, 1965, and who
make application for the grant before 31st December, 1976. The rate of the grant is one half of the
actual cost of the insulation works or £100, whichever is least.
