Car Badges
Special badges were issued to 23 handicapped persons who drive invalid cars or adapted vehicles.
These badges are easily identifiable and enable the police to assist the handicapped persons to park
their vehicles.
Visits
Social Workers made 2,352 domiciliary visits to handicapped persons during the year.

Of the 31 removed from the register, 22 were due to death and nine for other reasons. Of the 17
partially sighted people removed from the register, seven were because of death, seven were transferred
to the blind register, and three removed for other reasons.
