SCHOOL HEALTH SERVICE
POPULATION.
The population of Richmond upon Thames at mid-1971 was 174,310 (1970—
174,550) of which 21,433 (1970—21,187) were school children in maintained schools.
I am indebted to Miss V. C. King, B.Sc., Deputy Chief Education Officer, for the
information given in Table I. below, Table XVII on pages 81 and 82 and for the information
on Meals and Milk in schools on page 90.
