Under the Public Health (Prevention of Tuberculosis) Regulations
1925, powers are given to prohibit any person suffering from
respiratory tuberculosis from entering upon employment involving
the handling of milk.
Under the Public Health Act 1936 (Section 172) powers are
given to cause the removal and detention of any tubercular patient
where proper precautions are not being taken and the circumstances
are such as could constitute a danger to others.
