Ladies and Gentlemen,
I have the honour to present the Annual Report of the Medical
Officer of Health for the year 1958 upon the Sanitary Circumstances,
Sanitary Administration and Vital Statistics of the Borough.
The form of the report is in accordance with the instructions of
the Minister of Health and special reference is made to certain subjects
at the Minister's request.
I would like to thank all members of my Staff for their loyalty
and hard work during the year, and my colleagues in other depart'
ments for their ready co-operation.
Finally, I wish to express my appreciation of the support received
from my Chairman and the Chairman and Members of all Committees
with which I have been concerned.
