of the Borough of Richmond (Surrey).
Ladies and Gentlemen,
I have the honour to present the Annual Report of the Medical
Officer of Health for the year 1956 upon the Sanitary Circumstances,
Sanitary Administration and Vital Statistics of the Borough.
The form of the report is in accordance with the instructions of
the Minister of Health and special reference is made to certain subjects
at the Minister's request.
I wish to express my thanks to all members of the Council for
their continued support throughout the year, and to record my
gratitude to every member of the Staff of the Public Health Department
for their loyalty, hard work and co-operation.
