Ladies and Gentlemen,
I have the honour to present the Annual Report of the Medical
Officer of Health for the year 1953 upon the Sanitary Circumstances,
Sanitary Administration and Vital Statistics of the Borough.
The form of the report is similar to that for the year 1952 and
is in accordance with Ministry of Health Circulars 42/51 and 1/54.
I wish again to record my appreciation of the efficient and
conscientious work carried out by my staff, the assistance and close
Co-operation of my colleagues in other Departments, and the support
throughout the year of the Chairman and Members of the Health
Committee.
