AFTER CARE
The voluntary After Care Committee has continued
actively on behalf of the tuberculosis patients of Richmond
and Barnes.
The financial position of the Committee was much more
satisfactory than formerly as a result of a successful Sale of
Seals Campaign held in the autumn of 1946.
The aim of the Committee is to supplement where necessary
the Surrey County Council's Treatment Allowances Scheme, to
enable patients to carry out the recommended treatment with a
minimum of financial worry. Cases are treated confidentially
and are given individual consideration.
