Between January and August, 1948, a further 124 families
have been rehoused in permanent Council Houses and flats*
and requisitioned property.
* (The flats referred to are 78 in number, are situate at
Beaufort Court, Ham, and are all served with central heating
and constant domestic hot water).
Total waiting list at present date is 2,088.
Future Programme
Contracts are in hand for a further 126 dwellings, of
which 84 should be completed during 1948.
Beyond this, further projects encompass a total of 442
dwellings.
Present development and future schemes are all sited in
the Ham area.
