PREVENTION OF TUBERCULOSIS.
Under the Public Health (Prevention of Tuberculosis)
Regulations 1925, powers are given to prohibit any person suffering
from respiratory tuberculosis from entering upon employment
involving the handling of milk.
Under the Public Health Act 1936 (Section 172) powers are
given to cause the removal and detention of any tubercular patient
where proper precautions are not being taken and the circumstances
are such as could constitute a danger to others.
During the year 1945 it was not found necessary to take action
under either of the above enactments.
