Of the 121 houses affected, "appeals" were lodged with the
Ministry of Health by the owners in respect of:—
41, 43, & 45, Petersham Road.
l/9 (inclusive), Sheen Vale.
6/18, Whitecross Row.
l/3 (inclusive), St. Helena Cottages.
l/30 (inclusive), Crofton Terrace.
37/38, Crofton Terrace.
The owners of Nos. l/30, Crofton Terrace subsequently withdrew
their "appeal."
On January 15th, Mr. J. Bentley, P.A.S.I., Inspector of the
Ministry of Health, attended at the Town Hall to hear the
objections of the owners of the properties concerned.
Some of the owners engaged Counsel, and called expert
witnesses on their behalf. The case for the Corporation was
stated by the Town Clerk.
