(&) Health Visiting
The total number of visits paid by the Health Visitors
during the year was 4,834.
(e) Registered Nursing Homes
There are at present no registered nursing homes in the area
but there are four private homes for elderly persons all of which
are registered with the Local Authority under the National
Assistance Act, 1948 - Section 37.
(f) Clinics and Treatment Centres
See table of clinics on pages 8 and 9. These are listed as
being under the control of the Essex County Council until 31st
March, 1965; it is unlikely there is little variance in sessions
within the new Authority - the London Borough of Waltham Forest
as from 1st April, 1965.
