BACTERIOLOGICAL EXAMINATIONS
The Counties Public Health Laboratories, Thresh House, Gray's
Inn Road, London, W.C.I. undertake bacteriological examinations for
the Council through the Essex County Council Bacteriological
Laboratory Service.
During the year 24 samples of ice cream were submitted to the
Laboratory for Methylene Blue testing and bacteriological examination.
20 samples were Grade I and 4 samples were Grad.e II. These results
are very satisfactory and show that a high standard of cleanliness
has been maintained.
