Food Hygiene Regulations 1935 31.
One case was taken before the Magistrates under the above
regulations in relation to the following offence:-

Handling, wrapping and delivery of food
Progress has continued in the maintenance of hygienic conditions
in food premises in relation to these Byelaws.
1535 visits were paid to food premises, including restaurants and
other food preparing premises.
Set out hereafter is general information with regard to food
premises and other aspects of food hygiene

(a) The number registered under Section 16
of the Food and Drugs Act, 1955 98
(b) the number registered under the Essex
County Council Act, 1933 76
(c) the number of dairies registered 11
3. The number of inspections of registered food
premises during the year:- 305
4. Condemned food is disposed of by incineration
at the Refuse Disposal Works.
