Certificates of Disrepair.
The following table gives information as to the applications
which were received for Certificates of disrepair up to the 31st
December, 1959.

Improvement Grants.
Sixteen applications for Improvement Grants were received, all
were granted, but one applicant refused the Council's offer.
Five-Year Programme.
Two further houses were demolished during the year and one
house was brought up to the required standard by the owner thus
avoiding demolition. Alternative accommodation was provided in
one case and thus the five-year programme was completed.
