Certificates of Disrepair
The following table gives information as to the applications which were received for Certificates of disrepair up to the 31st December 1958. It will be seen that the number of applications was small and that in all cases but three the appropriate Undertakings were given by the landlords.

Improvement Grants
Four applications for Improvement Grants were received and
all were granted,
Five-Year Programme
Two further properties were demolished during the year,
leaving a residue of three houses to "be dealt with out of the
fifteen which were originally submitted within the five-year
programme. In the two cases mentioned, alternative accommodation
was provided by the Corporation,
