Summary of Inspections.
The total number of visits paid by the Public Health
Inspectors and other personnel of the Health Department staff to
various premises for all purposes is summarised below, together
with the number of nuisances or defects found under specific
headings.
The visits numbered 7300 as compared with 8646 in the
previous year, and the defects dealt with numbered 1232 as
compared with 1247 in 1956.
