Number of cases attended by Midwives as:-
(a) Midwives - 98
(b) Maternity nurses 28 - 126
Number of visits paid by Home Nurses - 23,697
(d) Health Visiting
The total number of visits paid by the Health Visitors during
the year was 5,028.
(e) Registered Nursing Homes
There were two registered Nursing Homes in the district, one
receiving maternity and medical patients, and the other receiving
medical cases only. The Homes were inspected regularly and found to
be conducted in a satisfactory manner.
Both establishments closed during the latter part of the year,
