Shops Act. 1950.
A toal of 1346 visits were paid to shops and generally
conditions were found to be satisfactory.
Swimming Pool.
Summaries of the total chlorine and alkalinity readings are
forwarded weekly to the Health Department by the Borough Engineer.
The Pool was opened on the 13th May and closed on the 9th September,
1956. The total attendance throughout the season was 87,598,
the highest attendance being on the 26th July, 1956 when 5,689
persons were present.
