Summary of Inspections
The total number of visits paid by the Sanitary Inspectors and
other personnel of the Health Department staff to various premises for all
purposes is summarised below, together with the number of nuisances or
defects found under specific headings.

The visits numbered 7,693 as compared with 7,250 in the previous year; the defects dealt with numbered 1,014 as compared with 919 in 1951.
